first.

I am a fashion designer. I trained at Istituto Marangoni Paris, where I was selected as one of ten student designers to present a graduate collection at Espace Niemeyer in July 2023.

My work starts with fabric. Before a silhouette exists I spend weeks manipulating cloth — pleating, pintucks, smocking, line sewing, reweaving upcycled fabric through warp and weft — and let what the material does decide what the garment becomes.

SUIT UP, that graduate collection, took corporate and office wear apart: the architecture of office buildings, the codes of what people wear to work, the small signals of authority held in a lapel or a closure. Six looks, ten months, every textile made by hand.
